With a background in architecture and photography, Alan Grillo Spina moved to China in 2012, where he started collaborating with luxury fashion brands and later with Istituto Marangoni Shanghai, where he taught digital and visual communication.
As one of the editors of Genda, a magazine intersecting Western and Eastern culture, Alan researched and selected photography projects in mainland China to build a bridge of communication between visual languages.
Since 2021, all these creative interests has been put under one roof, Cometa Bistro Bar & Store first, and then Sage Gastro, melting food and wine culture together with design and music.
Based in Shanghai and Milan, diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
